The Excellent History of Madame Regina

Chapter 14

Change, It's a Good Thing

Hello everyone, I’m Butchi De Rose, known to all of you as “Miss Butchi.” My dear friend, Madame Regina, asked me to take over her web site for the next few weeks. She said she needed a little break.

No problem honey, you get some rest, I can handle this.

When I asked her what I should write about, she told me to fill in a few of the gaps about some of the characters in the story. As most of you sharp-eyed readers know all the chapters she has presented take place a long time ago.  She told me not to give away anything that has happened since the last chapter. I will try not to reveal anything that she wants to cover in future chapters.

I am writing this in the present day -or to be more precise, I am sitting at Madame Regina’s keyboard and typing this on Saturday, March 18, 2006.

And yes, I am still around! I may no longer look like the Miss Butchi shown in the previous chapters. But then again, after the passage of so many years, who does look like they once did when they were young?

So, where do I start?

Joe Stanley Mike: As you know by now Joe was the leader of the 99th Street Dominoes, the local street gang. Joe and I grew up in the same area of Stanktown. He was a few years older than me. When I was a young boy, he used to torment me. At that time I was about 10 years old and Joe was 13. He used to call me sissy, little girl and other things like that. He would say it in a very mean and humiliating way. He was such an awful bully and his words used to hurt my feelings. I think it had a lot to do with the fact that even then, I had a crush on him. So when he did say these things to me, it would make me cry. I didn’t have a lot of people in my life back then I didn’t even have a family!  When someone rejects you like that, under those circumstances, it can very devastating! At that time I knew a lot about rejection. My real mother didn’t want me. She was 20 years old when she had me. I guess for her having a child was a real drag on her social life. I have no idea who my father was. Sadly, I don’t think my mother knew who he was either.

I was given to my mother’s sister, and she tried to look after me, but she also didn’t want me. She actually moved away one night and left me at the doorstep of Acker’s store with a $1.00 bill and a note asking Acker if she could take care of me. Thank goodness for dear, sweet Acker! I’ll get to the part about her a little later.

It was not long after I supposedly “disappeared” with my aunt that I resurfaced as the sweet little girl everyone called Butchi. At that time no one, except Acker, knew the unwanted street kid named Tommy was now a girl! I was probably about 18 when Joe started noticing me. I did everything I could to discourage his interest. I didn’t mind the attention, but I knew if it became more than just a mild flirtation it could really turn out bad for me.

One night, I was talking to him outside Acker’s store. There was no one else around. He told me he wanted to kiss me and I told him not to. He kept telling me he was going to kiss me and I told him not to do it. Well, you could never tell someone like Joe not to do something and expect him to obey.

The next thing I knew, he grabbed me and gave me a kiss. I was terrified –and thrilled! But, in order to protect myself, I pushed him away and tried to go inside the store. He blocked my way and got me up against a side wall outside the store. I tried to get away but he pushed closer and kissed me again. Then he groped me.

That’s when he found out!

Just by the look on his face, I knew he was shocked. At that moment I thought I had my chance to get away but he grabbed my arm and pulled me back. He then held me tightly by the shoulders and looked into my eyes. I wanted to scream. Then, in a real soft voice, he said, “Wow, you’re really a boy?”

By this time I was shaking I was so afraid! And then he said, “Don’t worry, I’m not going to hurt you.” He pulled me close and kissed me again, and this time it was a very intense, very passionate kiss.

I was reeling! But I was still afraid. So I said to him, “You aren’t angry that I’m not a real girl?” He just smiled and said, “So what if you’re a boy you’re still beautiful!

Well, I could have died right then and there! After that, we just went at it, right in the alley like a couple of …well…alley cats!

It’s funny…first he was my tormentor and then, less than a decade later, he became my lover!

Surprise, Surprise.

Joe took this photograph not long after I went through the final transition. He was at my place late one afternoon while I was scurrying about trying to get ready for work. I came out of my bedroom and he snapped the picture. I didn’t even know he had a camera with him! That’s why I have that surprised look on my face. I yelled at him for doing that to me and he just laughed. I think he said, “Aw don’t worry about it babe, you look great!”

He got the man at the camera store in the neighborhood to develop the picture.

I guess he told this man that he would forget about the “protection” fee for a couple of months if he would make a print for him. Joe said he stayed with the man in the darkroom and made sure he didn’t gawk at my picture for too long. I’m glad he did that since I’m practically naked!

One day, Joe came to my place and told me he wanted to get out of town right now!

He wanted me to come along. Actually, he insisted I come along! I don’t know what brought this about, but he seemed really desperate to leave. Joe had a car. It wasn’t anything fancy, but he was the only one in his gang who had one. So I went with him and we drove and drove for what seemed like…forever.

When we got to Pennsylvania, we stopped in a small town and Joe got us a room at the local hotel. We stayed there for 2 days. Two glorious days of seemingly non-stop fucking! When it was time to get something to eat, Joe would run out and get sandwiches from the diner across the street.

I did this little drawing of Joe early one morning while he was still sleeping. He looked so peaceful and sweet. I just had to have something to remember that moment. Now I’m no artist, but I must say I didn’t exaggerate the size of his penis! He was really that big!

Sweet Repose.

When we left the hotel, we stopped at that diner for something to eat before going back home. I showed him the drawing and he just looked at it for a moment and didn’t say anything. To me, he seemed to have a lot on his mind. I suppose he was thinking about facing whatever it was that caused him to leave town so abruptly in the first place. He laid my drawing on the counter and, without thinking about it, put his coffee cup on it. That’s why it has that little half ring on the upper left corner.

We got home a day later. I don’t know what forced Joe to leave and take me on that road trip. I never knew the reason and he wouldn't tell me. I do know that Louie Buonangeli was very angry at me for not showing up to work for 5 days! I'm glad Johnnie stepped in and calmed Louie down. My dear, sweet little Johnnie saved me from getting fired!

That’s all I can tell you about Joe –for now. To be very honest with you, Joe Stanley Mike was a criminal and a very bad man. But he was also my lover and I loved him and cared about him as much as he loved and cared about me. He was a hoodlum with a little spark of humanity inside of him. These days, I like to think that was his great undoing.
